National property consultancy, Bradley Hall, recently brought together its graduate, trainee and placement student cohort for its first Graduate Day, giving emerging talent from across the business the opportunity to connect, share experiences and gain valuable insight into developing a career in the property industry.
Held at Bradley Hall’s Newcastle head office, the event brought together 13 graduates, trainees and placement students who have joined the business over the past two years.
The day was organised by Associate Director Callum Armstrong, and began with a presentation covering the APC process, providing practical advice for those working towards their professional qualifications and an overview of the support available to graduates at Bradley Hall throughout the process.
Callum Armstrong, Associate Director at Bradley Hall, said: “It was great to bring everyone together for our first Graduate Day and give our most recent team members the opportunity to meet others at a similar stage in their careers.
“We wanted the day to be a mixture of useful insight and advice, alongside some time to get to know each other and have some fun. The APC can be a daunting process, so it was important to give our graduates the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and understand the support available to them at Bradley Hall.
“We have a fantastic group of emerging talent across the business, and it was brilliant to see everyone getting involved and building connections across different teams and offices.”
The presentation was followed by a series of ‘Meet the Team’ activities, designed to help the group get to know each other and build relationships with colleagues from across Bradley Hall’s network of offices.
The group then headed to Lane7 for an afternoon of bowling, darts and food, providing a more informal opportunity for the cohort to continue getting to know each other outside of the workplace.
Aaron Sharma, Graduate Surveyor at Bradley Hall’s Leeds office, said: “I really enjoyed the Graduate Day. It was nice to get to know the other graduates from across the network of offices within an informal setting, and the advice about the APC qualification was very informative.”
The Graduate Day forms part of Bradley Hall’s wider commitment to developing its people, providing early-career professionals with opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues, build their networks and develop the skills and knowledge needed to progress within the property industry.
