National property consultancy, Bradley Hall, has successfully advised independent FMCG wholesaler Kitwave Group on a significant property transaction at Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Shields.
The lease acquisition of the site will secure the company’s long-term future and will act as the firm’s headquarters, with the acquisition of additional warehouse space and the regear of its existing lease.
Acting on behalf of the tenant, Principal Asset Manager Anthony Cape advised Kitwave on the acquisition of an additional 28,484 sq ft units alongside the regear of its existing 134,796 sq ft headquarters facility.
Anthony Cape, Principal Asset Manager at Bradley Hall, said: “This transaction represents an important milestone for Kitwave and demonstrates its long-term commitment to the North East. By securing additional accommodation alongside a regear of its existing headquarters, the business has created the flexibility and certainty needed to support its continued growth. It was a pleasure to advise Kitwave throughout the process and help deliver a solution that meets both its immediate operational requirements and future ambitions.”
The transaction sees Kitwave commit to more than 163,000 sq ft at the estate under a new 15-year lease, supporting the group’s continued operational growth and long-term presence in the North East.
The deal is one of a number completed by Anthony and Bradley Hall’s Lease Advisory & Rent Reviews department this year, which was launched in early 2026 to provide specialist, holistic support to landlords and tenants.
The transaction will provide a long-term tenant for Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate, which is owned and operated by UK Land Estates, the largest owner of industrial estates in the North East region.
