National property consultancy, Bradley Hall, has reaffirmed its commitment to developing the next generation of professionals by partnering with Esh Group, the North East Chamber of Commerce and BusinessIQ to deliver the 2026/27 Building My Skills (BMS) programme.
Having previously supported the initiative, Bradley Hall will once again deliver careers workshops to secondary school students across the North East and Tees Valley, helping to inspire young people to consider careers within the property sector while developing their understanding of the skills employers value most.
The firm is among up to 100 regional employers taking part in the expanded programme, which has been developed in response to the Milburn Interim Report on Young People and Work. Delivered by Esh Group in partnership with the North East Chamber of Commerce and BusinessIQ, the programme will now reach up to 100 secondary schools across the region, connecting thousands of students with employers from a wide range of industries.
Bradley Hall has supported Building My Skills in previous years, with colleagues visiting schools across the North East to deliver engaging workshops introducing students to the diverse careers available within the property industry. From surveying and valuation to estate agency, planning, commercial property, marketing and business support, the sessions are designed to challenge perceptions of the sector and demonstrate the wide range of opportunities available.
Richard Rafique, Group Managing Director at Bradley Hall, said: “We’re delighted to continue supporting the Building My Skills programme and help inspire the next generation of property professionals. We’ve seen the positive impact these workshops have had in previous years, giving students a greater understanding of the career opportunities available within our industry.
“Developing future talent is incredibly important to us as a business, and we’re proud to play our part in helping young people build confidence, raise aspirations and make informed decisions about their future.”
This year’s programme will build on that success, with Bradley Hall colleagues sharing their experiences and offering practical insight into the pathways available within the profession. The workshops form part of a structured employability programme that culminates in a Regional Interview Day, where up to 1,000 students will take part in realistic interview experiences with employers from across the region.
As a full-service national property consultancy, Bradley Hall is committed to investing in future talent through apprenticeships, graduate opportunities, work experience and professional development. Supporting Building My Skills forms part of the firm’s wider commitment to strengthening links between education and industry while encouraging more young people to pursue rewarding careers in the North East.
Building My Skills has been supporting schools for more than 16 years, bringing education and business together to improve employability, raise aspirations and strengthen social mobility. Businesses taking part can choose the level of involvement that suits them, with all programme coordination managed by Esh Group, enabling employers to focus on delivering engaging, high-impact sessions.
Bradley Hall’s continued involvement reflects the firm’s commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates. Alongside providing professional property services across the UK, the business regularly works with schools, universities, charities and industry partners to promote career development and help create a skilled, resilient workforce for the future.
