Leading property consultancy, Bradley Hall, recently partnered with the Federation of Small Businesses and YBS Commercial Mortgages to deliver a business-focused insight event at YBS’ headquarters in Bradford, bringing together regional organisations and property experts for a morning of networking and property insights.
The event was held at Yorkshire Building Society’s flagship office at Yorkshire Drive and saw 75 guests from across the professional services industry join together to discuss the current economic landscape in West Yorkshire; with a particular focus on Bradford’s ongoing regeneration, development pipeline and the long-term impact of Bradford being named City of Culture 2025.
Paul Dodds, Associate Director at Bradley Hall’s Leeds office, delivered a presentation examining the West Yorkshire business environment, highlighting Bradford’s recent growth, inward investment and infrastructure improvements.
Paul also explored how the City of Culture designation is acting as a catalyst for economic confidence, cultural investment and wider commercial opportunity across the district.

Bradley Hall hosted the event alongside Barry Dillon of YBS Commercial Mortgages and Arminder Purewal of the FSB, who hosts similar events across the UK year-round.
Paul Dodds, Associate Director at Bradley Hall, reflected on the event: “Our recent networking and insight event with FSB and YBS was a brilliant morning, and it was a pleasure to offer some key insights into the commercial property landscape across West Yorkshire, as well as provide insight into the benefits of Bradford being named UK City of Culture 2025.
“Working with Barry and Arminder allowed us to reach even more people and connect with property experts from across the county at an engaging and insightful event. Given the success of the event, we are looking forward to hosting more events with YBS Commercial Mortgages and the FSB in 2026.”
The event formed part of Bradley Hall’s ongoing commitment to supporting regional economies by sharing market intelligence, encouraging collaboration and championing investment across Yorkshire and the wider North.
The event also highlighted the role of Bradley Hall’s Leeds office within the region’s property landscape, as they support private clients, businesses, primary lenders and banks to access expert property advice.
From its Park Place office, Bradley Hall’s Leeds team provides Valuation, Commercial Agency and Lease Advisory services to clients across the region, and works closely with North East colleagues in Building Surveying, Mortgages and Property Management to offer full-service property support.
