A FAST-GROWING property agency is celebrating a bumper year, after valuing over £500m worth of property across Yorkshire over the past 12 months.
Bradley Hall carried out over 500 valuations for its commercial clients across the county in 2022/ 2023, marking three years of consecutive growth.
The company’s growth also coincided with the opening of its new Yorkshire head office in September at 6 Park Place, Leeds just off King Street.
The move to the new office has already seen the company create a number of jobs and graduate roles, with plans now in the pipeline to double its total headcount over the next 12 months as it continues to expand its presence in the region.
David Cran, managing director – Yorkshire at Bradley Hall, said: “These results top off what has already been an absolutely fantastic year for our Yorkshire team.
“In just three years, we’ve grown from a small satellite office with a handful of staff members to a company valuing over half a billion pounds worth of property annually and we are showing no signs of slowing down.
“With plans afoot to double our headcount, launch a dedicated commercial arm and expand our service offering throughout the year ahead, we’re looking forward to what will hopefully be yet another year of successive growth for the business.”
The company saw a particular increase in the number of enquiries for residential investment and higher yielding commercial investments. David believes this is predominantly driven by affordability criteria set by lenders following the mini budget in September 2022 alongside opportunities for investors seeking ‘value add’ opportunities where they can seek to improve the rental position through reconfiguration, refurbishment and re-gearing of leases.
And despite the uncertain economic conditions surrounding the national sector, the team are confident that the county’s commercial property market will continue to buck trends as they look ahead to 2023/ 2024.
He added: “In what has been a tough 12 months for the sector, the Yorkshire market has remained resilient and continues to buck national trends.
“And with more speculative industrial and office developments set to enter the market throughout the year, providing a much-needed boost to supply, we’re confident that the market will continue on this upward trajectory throughout 2023.”
