A CHARTERED surveyor who undertook a student work placement with his employer six years ago is celebrating after securing a significant promotion.
Callum Armstrong joined Bradley Hall’s Durham office in 2017 as part of a university placement while studying at Nottingham Trent University.
He impressed so much that he was offered an opportunity to re-join the company upon completion of his studies, taking up a graduate surveyor position in 2019.
Since then, he has continued to repay the faith shown in him by the company by swiftly climbing the career ladder and establishing himself as a key member of the team.
So much so, that he has this month been promoted to the position of senior chartered surveyor, marking it his third promotion in just over three years.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be embarking upon the next stage of my career with Bradley Hall.
“Since re-joining the firm I’ve achieved chartered status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and have become a RICS registered valuer, which has really helped me grow both personally and professionally.
“They have also trusted me to get involved in and even lead on some really significant projects which has really helped me better understand the industry and increase my skillset, and given me opportunities which I really don’t think I’d have gotten anywhere else.
“Bradley Hall has really invested in me and I can’t thank them enough for all of the trust they have placed in me over the last six years.”
Established over 30 years ago in Newcastle, Bradley Hall prides itself in investing in its staff and promoting from within.
