How has your career developed with Bradley Hall?
Joining Bradley Hall has given me an ideal opportunity to widen my experience of different property types. This has opened an array of new opportunities and avenues to go and find business in areas of the market that I haven’t dealt with before.
What does it take to be a Commerical Agency Surveyor?
To be a negotiator you need various qualities. You need to be able to communicate and talk to people, as building relationships is so important in winning and retaining business. You need to be flexible and creative when it comes to achieving the end result you need. Not all sales/lettings are straight forward and sometimes you need to be able to come up with solutions to get the job done. You also need to be resilient, as not all jobs are easy and straight forward. A lot of people also value integrity and this ties in with building relationships and winning and retaining business.
What’s the best part of your job?
Getting out on the road and inspecting sites and meeting people is a big part of the job. It also gives you the opportunity to keep in touch with local markets in that area and spot other opportunities. The other enjoyable aspect is finalising a sale or letting, knowing you achieved what you set out to do and done a good job for your client is very satisfying.
