A VALUATIONS specialist is celebrating another promotion at a leading Northern property firm.
Carl O’Brien joined Bradley Hall as a Senior Surveyor in 2015 and has now been promoted to Head of Valuation and Lease Advisory thanks to his dedication to the firm and its valuation and lease advisory department.
Carl specialises in both valuation and landlord and tenant work, which he carries out on commercial properties, specifically rent reviews and lease renewals.
He is an RICS Registered Valuer and undertakes work for many of the high-street lender valuation panels. As well as valuations for secured-lending purposes, he also carries out valuation work for probate, matrimonial, pension and accounting purposes.
Carl has been accepted onto the Lloyds, Handelsbanken and Barclays bank panels and has had direct involvement in assisting Bradley Hall, as a consultancy, to do well in the banks’ performance league tables.
He joined Bradley Hall from Newcastle City Council where he contributed to the local authority delivering their capital receipts programme in 2015, ahead of its scheduled completion date.
Prior to this, he began his career as part of a commercial agency team focusing on the office and industrial sectors. This agency background has been a benefit in allowing him to take a pragmatic approach to rent reviews and lease renewals.
