North East property agent Bradley Hall has invested £150k in expanding to a larger head office to accommodate growth plans for 2017 and beyond.
Relocating from its Grey Street base, the firm has moved to a site of more than three times the size at Hood Street, near Grey’s Monument, Newcastle.
Intending to increase its team of 35 staff to 50, the business is currently recruiting for several posts after winning a host of new work this year.
Most significantly, 2016 saw Bradley Hall secured one of its biggest ever property instructions, winning a tender with Northumberland County Council.
The company was appointed to manage the largest disposal ever of county council assets across Northumberland, a portfolio of more than 23 commercial and residential development opportunities.
Neil Hart, managing director of BH Group, explained: “We intend to become the largest independent, general practice chartered surveying firm within the next year or so.
“We needed a head office that provided us with capacity for growth along with a prestigious address that reflects our growing stature across the region.
“Bradley Hall has grown its resources and team of expertise to provide competitive commercial property advice and support to Top 200 companies in the region. We’re handling bigger instructions, for both commercial and residential projects.
“During the last 12 months we have secured some significant property management contracts and also got involved in finding and marketing some exciting new homes sites.“
