Leading property firm, Bradley Hall, is lending its support to a sporting legend at an exclusive event later this year.
Bradley Hall, a full-service property firm founded 36 years ago, has confirmed its sponsorship of rugby player Michael Young’s Pre-Lions Dinner on 8th May 2025 at The Fed Brewery in Gateshead, alongside a number of other North East businesses.
Neil Hart, Chief Executive at Bradley Hall, commented on the sponsorship: “Michael is a fantastic rugby player who has had an impressive career over the last 17 years.
“I am pleased that Bradley Hall is sponsoring his Pre-Lions dinner, which will bring together the very best players and coaches from Micky’s long career as a Scrum Half.
“As long-standing supporters of Newcastle Falcons and grassroots sports clubs across the North East, we are proud to support a fantastic local player as he raises money for his chosen charities over 12 months.”
Michael, whose professional rugby career included appearances for Newcastle Falcons, Bath, Leicester Tigers, Toulon, England Saxons, England Sevens and Gloucester, is hosting the event as part of his testimonial year, as Micky prepares to retire from the sport.
Hailing from Hartlepool, Micky played over 200 matches for Newcastle Falcons, and most recently played as a Scrum Half for Gloucester Rugby.
Michael commented on the sponsorship from Bradley Hall: “It’s brilliant to have the support from Neil and everyone at Bradley Hall. I’ve known Neil for years and he has been a massive supporter of myself and the Falcons for some time. I feel privileged to have such a great company supporting me on my testimonial year which I am very excited about.”
The event, which will be hosted by commentator and former Falcons player Rob Vickerman, will include a three-course meal and entertainment from two rugby legends, Alun Wyn Jones and Sir Ian McGeechan.
The dinner will take place just before this years British and Irish Lions squad announcement, which will see the team travel to Australia for the first time since 2013. The event will also raise money for Micky’s chosen charities, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and the Alan Shearer Foundation.
Bradley Hall recently announced its 2024 Festive Fundraiser brought their total fundraising and donation figure to almost £400,000, with a series of local charities, sports clubs and community organisations supported.
