National property consultancy Bradley Hall has launched its 13th UK office, with a new base in Edinburgh.
The new office is the firm’s first in Scotland, and will support clients across Edinburgh and Central locations across the country with RICS Valuations and Commercial Agency.
The Edinburgh office will be led by experienced property expert Duncan Fraser, Director and Head of Office, alongside Giles Harker, Senior Surveyor, who bring significant experience across valuation and commercial property to Bradley Hall’s first Scottish operation.
Richard Rafique, Group Managing Director, said: “The launch of our Edinburgh office is a hugely exciting milestone for Bradley Hall and represents our first step into the Scottish market. We have built our business around combining strong local knowledge with the ability to draw on expertise from across our wider network, and we see a clear opportunity to bring that approach to Scotland.
“Duncan and Giles bring an excellent combination of experience to the new office. Duncan’s extensive knowledge of the Scottish valuation and commercial property market, alongside Giles’ experience across a wide range of commercial instructions, gives us a very strong foundation from which to establish our presence in Edinburgh.
“Our ambition is to grow the office and develop a broader offering over time, establishing a long-term presence in Scotland and building relationships with clients with a range of commercial property requirements. Edinburgh is an important step in our ambition to become the biggest privately owned national property consultancy.”
Duncan is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer with more than 15 years’ experience across the Scottish property market. He began his career with the Lothian Valuation Board before moving into commercial surveying and has held senior roles within the Scottish property sector.
His experience spans commercial valuations for private clients, pension providers and major banks and lending institutions, alongside commercial agency, rating consultancy, rent reviews, lease renewals and lease negotiations across the East of Scotland.
Duncan Fraser, Head of Office at Bradley Hall Edinburgh, said: “The opportunity to establish ourselves in a capital city with such a diverse and dynamic business community is particularly exciting. Edinburgh is home to businesses across financial services, technology, professional services, tourism, retail, hospitality and many other sectors, and we are looking forward to supporting businesses across the city and wider region with their valuation, disposal and acquisition needs.
“Bradley Hall’s growth across the UK has created a strong platform for us to build from, while the independent nature of the business allows us to focus on delivering a genuinely client-led service.
“Our initial focus will be on valuation and commercial property across Edinburgh and Central Scotland, where we can draw on our experience while also working closely with colleagues across Bradley Hall’s wider network. We are also looking forward to developing the breadth of services we can offer to clients to incorporate Bradley Hall’s full service approach.”
Giles joins Bradley Hall with extensive commercial property experience, having previously worked with London-based commercial property consultancy Frost Meadowcroft. His work has covered a broad range of commercial property instructions, including sales and lettings across office, industrial and investment property. He has advised institutional, private and corporate clients and has recently completed a Masters degree in Real Estate and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.
The Edinburgh launch forms part of Bradley Hall’s continued national expansion. The business now has offices across Northumberland, Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Gosforth, Teesside, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Oxfordshire, Sheffield, Bristol and Edinburgh.
