A popular leisure firm has announced new available retail units at its upcoming site in Newcastle.
STACK, which was founded in the city in 2018, has appointed Bradley Hall to market the letting of two retail units on the exterior of their newest site, which is set to open on Worswick Street later this year.
Will Reavley, retail expert at Bradley Hall, has been appointed to market the units, which are earmarked for a deli and service based retailer.
STACK’s first site opened in Newcastle in 2018, before closing to make away for the new HMRC site on Pilgrim Street. Since then, the firm has opened units in Middlesbrough, Lincoln, Seaburn and at St James’ Park, in collaboration with Newcastle United football club.
Each site is crafted from shipping containers or formed within an existing building and offers a space for food, drinks, entertainment, shopping and community events.
Further sites are due to be completed in Durham, Bishop Auckland, Whitley Bay, Northampton, Carlisle, Leeds, Manchester, Wigan and Sheffield, as STACK sets its sights on venues across the UK, offering a unique and accessible venue for all.
Will Reavley, Senior Surveyor within Bradley Hall’s Commercial Agency team, commented on the appointment to market the units: “I am pleased to be supporting STACK as they prepare to make their return to Newcastle’s thriving city centre.
“The new site on Worswick Street is a really exciting venue and a fantastic addition to the area, which has seen significant redevelopment over the past few years.
“The site will be home to a number of independent street food vendors, as well as local retail businesses.
“The two retail units available are in prominent locations with a high footfall anticipated and will suit a service-based retailer and a deli, as the team at STACK ensure that the retail options are plentiful and boost the local economy.”
Neill Winch, CEO of STACK, said, “Following the success of St. James’ STACK, we’re proud to continue expanding our footprint in Newcastle city centre with this exciting new development at Worswick Street. The scheme is designed to create a vibrant community space, combining food, drink, entertainment, and retail in a way that celebrates local businesses and offers something unique for visitors.
“We’re working with Bradley Hall to secure the right lifestyle operators that will complement the STACK experience and appeal to our customer base.
the new STACK sits next to the upcoming Hotel Gotham, HMRC building and new Bank House offices, with close proximity to local transport options.
STACK is a versatile leisure venue concept that has attracted attention on an international level, with the recent Carabao Cup celebrations taking place just outside St. James’ STACK.
As a full-service property firm, Bradley Hall supports clients across the UK with residential and commercial agency, building surveying, mortgages, auctions, lettings, property management, valuations and land and development.
