The team at leading North East property firm, Bradley Hall, is gearing up for the iconic Great North Run, and this time they’re racing for a cause close to their hearts. Over a dozen brave team members will be running the half marathon to raise funds and awareness for Heel & Toe, a local charity dedicated to helping children with disabilities and complex needs.
Employees from a range of departments, including Valuations, Commercial Agency, Property Management, and Accounts, will lace up their trainers and take on the 13.1-mile challenge that starts in Newcastle and finishes at South Shields. Along the way, they’ll cross the famous Tyne Bridge, taking in some of the region’s most iconic sights.
The race takes place on 7th September, and Bradley Hall is rallying support for their efforts. Peter Bartley, Group Director and Trustee of Heel and Toe, expressed his pride in the team: “We’re incredibly proud of everyone who’s stepping up for such a great cause. Supporting Heel & Toe has always been important to us, and it’s heart-warming to see our team members running for such an impactful charity. It’s all about giving back to the community that supports us.”
Heel & Toe was founded in 2008 after a realisation that children’s therapy services were difficult to source in the North East. The charity now run daily therapy sessions for children across the region out of their two therapy centres and additional headquarters. The charity offers a range of therapy services, including hydrotherapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and conductive education.
The Bradley Hall fundraising team is made up of staff from all areas of the business: Harry Martin and Alastair Adams from Building Surveying, Isobel Buttigieg-Cook from Accounts, Harry Towers, Euan Smart, Mae Gordon, Callum Armstrong and Lucy Mouter from Commercial Agency, Henry Bowers and Harriet Hoyland from Property Management, Marc Pickering from Valuations, Lauren Geoghegan from Administration and Joe I’Anson and Ben Riddle from Tees Valley.
The Great North Run is the world’s largest half marathon, attracting over 60,000 runners from all corners of the globe. But this year, Bradley Hall’s team is hoping to make an even bigger impact – and they need your help.
With donations already helping the charity provide essential therapy and support to children across the North East, every pound raised will help Heel & Toe continue its invaluable work. So, if you’re inspired by the team’s dedication, consider donating to their fundraising efforts. Together, we can make a difference.
