AN UPDATE FROM OUR ESTATE AGENCY NETWORK

Created 14th May 2020

Firstly, I hope everyone is safe & well.

The government have updated advice on “home moving during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak” which I’m sure you’ll have seen has been extensively covered by the press.

We are, as a result, working on a progressive and structured return to usual operations with the health, safety and wellbeing of our team and clients remaining our priority. The first step of our approach will be to reopen one of our offices for a centralized working location in line with the government’s guidance (separate from that linked above) on creating a safe working environment

This will allow for:

• One central location where calls will be handled, meaning we can better cope with anticipated increased call volumes

• An environment where colleagues can bounce ideas off one another which encourages a better working environment and a better quality of work and client service

• Clients and customers to visit us where necessary, on an appointment only basis, likely with a locked door policy

We plan to start our return to the office from Monday 18th May, with our new flagship Gosforth office the first to reopen. In a continuation of our current available communications channels, we will of course before, during and after this event remain available on all branch phone numbers and email addresses as usual with no real noticeable change for the public.

As we get busier, we will continue to aim to open more locations and return more staff to work, assuming we can do so in a safe manner in line with the present guidance/regulations.

Viewings

Obviously, it is of paramount importance to us along with adhering to government guidance to ensure the safety of our staff, clients, and customers. We will be providing staff with PPE and will be happy to conduct viewings on vacant properties in line with the above linked guidance.

For occupied properties, we have sought the instructions of our clients on a case-by-case basis. Many are already responding to us with a willingness to conduct viewings. I anticipate very shortly that most if not all properties that Bradley Hall are marketing will be available for internal inspection for serious buyers who are in a position to make an offer – noting the government advice states that virtual tours should still take priority.

As always, if you have any questions regarding the above please feel free to contact our team who are on hand to help. You can find all of our contact details here.

Kind regards,

Matt Hoy
