PROPERTY DIRECTOR DISPELS PROPERTY MARKET CRISIS RUMOURS

Created 17th August 2018

A leading North East property firm has reported a 50% increase in sales revenue year-on-year, as negative reports circulate regarding the North East housing market.

The Office of National Statistics revealed that in the last year UK house prices rose by only 3 per cent - the slowest increase since August 2013. The report also highlighted that house prices in the North East decreased by 0.6% year-on-year.

Matt Hoy, Director of Estate Agency at Bradley Hall said: “The facts revealed by the Office of National Statistics have encouraged the theory that the housing market is running out of steam. We have experienced no evidence of this across our offices, as property sales and our subsequent business growth continues.

“We are looking forward to continuing this success and opening two new offices in the very near future.”

The firm recently announced reaching the impressive milestone of welcoming £91.5m of new build properties to the market during 2018. The success of the first half of the year is set to continue, and the firm predicts that it will comfortably surpass £100m by the close of the year.

Bradley Hall’s New Homes division has been working in partnership with the firm’s recently launched land and development department to bring a ‘field to finish’ approach to housebuilding and sales.

Bradley Hall currently operates offices in Alnwick, Morpeth, Gosforth, Sunderland and Durham. For information please visit the Bradley Hall website www.bradleyhall.co.uk
