MyLockup.com, which also has branches in Thirsk, Northallerton and Scarborough with branches opening soon in Catterick, Darlington and Knaresborough, has opened its new operation in Drum Industrial Estate.
Leading North East property firm Bradley Hall assisted MyLockup.com managing director Kevin Doyle in acquiring the new base for the growing business.
Kevin said: “Self-storage is fast becoming a popular choice for many people – including those who need to store stock for online businesses, those who are moving home, or need that bit of extra space for possessions.
“We are delighted to be further expanding the business in the Durham area. Drum Industrial Estate provides an excellent base for us which is close to great transport links and surrounded by other successful businesses. The south of the region is a hive of activity and we are looking forward to building on our presence within the North East.

The secure storage units within the MyLockup.com site range from 25 to 350 square feet, up to 8 feet high and are monitored by security cameras.
