Ten new properties are set to be built on formerly disused land in South Shields following significant private investment in new housing in the town.
The new three bedroom townhouses are set to be built on Boldon Lane, South Shields, in a bid to offer more, quality housing in South Tyneside.
CGI’s have now been revealed of the upcoming properties, which are set to be available by Spring 2021.
Matt Hoy, director at award-winning North East property firm Bradley Hall Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents said: “Our client is passionate about providing new and quality housing for the South Shields community. Properties are in high demand in this area and we anticipate a high level of interest from local people including first time buyers and families, thanks to a close proximity to local transport links, national and local retailers and outdoor spaces including Temple Park.
“These homes will include a spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area, utility room, study, three bedrooms, family bathroom, separate WC and garage.
“The development will also transform an area of land which has been disused for some time, creating a better and more established environment for the local community.”
A spokesperson for Stessa Group, the firm behind the development, said: “We are delighted to be bringing new homes to South Shields, supporting a local need for quality housing and opportunities for local people.
“We are looking forward to also creating jobs for local builders and suppliers, as well as teaming up with local estate agents and chartered surveyors Bradley Hall in marketing the properties.”
