COMPLETION NEARS ON DURHAM DEVELOPMENT

Created 8th December 2016

Work on a multimillion-pound commercial estate in Durham is nearing completion.

St Andrews Park is based on the Dragonville Retail Park, with chartered surveyor Bradley Hall now marketing the £10m site.

The site will comprise 13 units ranging from 5,000 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft, with Kwik Fit having already been signed up as the first tenant.

Any further occupiers would join the likes of Currys, Argos, B&Q, Boots and Tesco at The Dragonville Retail Park.

Peter Bartley, operations director at Bradley Hall, said: "This is a fantastic site in a prime location and the fact that Kwik Fit has taken one of the first spaces is an indication of the calibre of tenants we can expect to take retail and office space at St Andrews Park."

Mark Swallow, development consultant Angel Developments (Durham) Ltd, added: "The innovative development provides tenants with the opportunity to create their own bespoke space within one of the region's leading retail parks.

"We are in advanced discussions with a drive-thru restaurant and a range of other retailers. Thanks to its fantastic location and the popularity of the surrounding retail park and high passing trade, we are expecting the units to be very attractive to a range of businesses."
