We are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for a Property Manager to join our growing team in the centre of Newcastle. Within the role you will be responsible for a diverse range of work across a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. The role offers you the opportunity to take ownership of your own properties by managing maintenance, compliance and conducting the relevant inspections.

This role is based in our Head Office and offers a salary of £35,000 – £40,000.

Summary of Role

Reporting to the Associate Director, Property Management, your role will include:

Visting properties to conduct the relevant inspections.

Management of repairs and maintenance requests.

Liaise with relevant contractors to ensure work is carried out in a timely manner and followed up accordingly.
Conduct rent reviews.
Negotiate lease and contract renewals.
Management of risk, compliance and structural inspections.
Liaise directly with the landlords, tenants and contracts.
Update the central database accordingly with updates relating to the property.
Oversee Section 20 consultations.
Managing any outstanding rent arrears.

Requirements

Real Estate RICS accredited degree.

Experience working within a property management role covering commercial and residential, preferably within block management.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

Ambitious, self-motivated, and a team player.

Proficient IT skills.

Full clean driving license.
